Lyre Ring - Sterling Silver and Glass

Inspired by the curvaceous form of ancient Greek stringed instruments, this stackable ring is delightful to play with and soothing to wear. The glass version features a hand-made soda lime glass bead with decorative stripes.

"Ultramarine" is a deep blue featuring alternating white and yellow horizontal stripes. "Sky" is a baby blue featuring irregular vertical stripes in white and yellow.

Stones

• Soda Lime Glass: Glass beadmaking is a tradition tracing back at least 3,000 years, chronicling traditions of adornment and trade. Today, rods of solid-colored glass are still melted and hand-formed in a flame to create these beads.

Craft

• The Lyre Ring is Sterling Silver. Also available in 10k or 14k gold by special order. Please contact hello@octavejewelry.com to inquire.
  
• Hand-carved in wax, then cast into solid sterling silver.
  
• Each glass bead is handwrought then kiln-annealed for durability. Your ring may have slight variations in stripe and size from those pictured.
• Hand-finished in our Brooklyn studio.

Dimensions

• Bead is appx. 7-8mm in front, shank is 3mm behind the hand. Dimensions may vary slightly depending on ring size.
