Lyre Ring - Solid Gold + Stone

Inspired by the curvaceous form of ancient Greek stringed instruments, this stackable ring is delightful to play with and soothing to wear. This version features hand-carved stone as the centerpiece, with a solid gold sling around the finger.

Pictured in Chrysoprase and 10k gold, Lapis and 14k gold, and Black Jade with 14k gold.

Stones

• Black Jade: Prized for centuries worldwide as a beautiful, durable material for everything from tools and weapons to delicate jewelry, this stone is a rich black with hints of charcoal and occasional splashes of golden pyrite. Sourced from Wyoming.
• Chrysoprase: A variant of chalcedony, this gem's glowing seafoam color comes from trace quantities of nickel. Some say it boosts optimism and helps unlock suppressed emotions. Sourced in Tanzania.
• Lapis Lazuli: Prized in jewelry around the world for over 6000 years, this rich, blue stone was mined in Afghanistan.
• Bloodstone, or Heliotrope, is a teal green jasper with beautiful inclusions of red hematite splashed across its surface. Ancient Greek and Roman philosophers wrote of its ability to make rain, and preserve health and youth. Sourced in India

Craft

• The Lyre Ring is solid gold in the karat of your choice.
  
• Hand-carved in wax, then cast into solid gold.
  
• Each stone bead is hand-carved in our studio from rough material. Your ring may have slight variations in stripe and size from those pictured.
• Hand-finished in our Brooklyn studio.

Dimensions

• Bead is appx. 7-8mm in front, shank is 3mm behind the hand. Dimensions may vary slightly depending on ring size.
